So my first workshop happened last month and I have to say it was awesome! Had a great crew of photographers that were eager to learn and have a great time. I think some of them just came for the catered lunch by Andre's Restaurant but that's cool too. I will be doing another DSLR class in the spring so email me if you are interested and I will be having an iPhone Photography class this winter. It is going to be killer. Here are some of my awesome students and some randomness from the streets of Newton.

Teaching to kids at PSS
This past July I volunteered some time at Project Self-Sufficency in Newton by teaching photography to young kids. It was totally crazy. I had about fifteen minutes with groups of between 8-12 kids in age groups of 5 years old to 10 years old, roughly. Needless to say we focused mainly on holding a camera and then a little on composition. Here are a few pics I took with my iPhone using the Hipstamatic App then processed further in Snapseed. Thanks to Garry LaFranco at Photographs for donating the cameras.
